solo bass ruminations. FREE Download here
We are so happy to release another Lezet‘s work on Etched Traumas. Lezet is Igor Jovanovic and comes from Požega, Serbia. Lezet is a one-man experimental music project in 2005 and he has released more than 45 albums. “Someone’s comment about the sound of Lezet (Igor Jovanović) was ‘like Zorn without saxophone’…And indeed, Lezet’s work could remind the results of “the game theory”, which John Zorn exercised on his debut “Locus Solus”, for example…The fact that Lezet doesn’t use only live instruments will probably disconnect it from the Avant Garde free jazz scene, but I suppose the coming under some specific style wasn’t the intent in this case anyway. It’s about free experiments with sound captures in search for the surprises. And it can’t be pretentious as such…”.

Enjoy our first release for autumn 2016 numbered ET101 by djozr and Lezet artists. Free Download here.
The sophomore effort by a duo of old friends is a collaboration as much as it is a split release. It documents a radical departure from the sounds and approaches hitherto associated with Djozr and Lezet, and ventures into dangerously new terrains for both artists. But even despite this, the split feels more like a unified body of work than a mere collection of new songs.
djozr (d͡ʒoʊ.zɹ) is an ambient drone glitch project by Glenn Bryce.
Lezet is an experimental music project from Serbia.

[ET101] An Etched Traumas release 2016 September
“Utterings” is Lezet’s attempt at fake languages and sound poetry which should in this case lean toward the musical rather than the semantic. This offering is somewhat limited by content creator’s Indo-European language background and the phonetic peculiarities of his native language (Serbo-Croatian/ Croato-Serbian), but the texts and the readings should prove to be interesting and amusing enough in themselves. Any actual words used are unintentional.
“Utterings” the third installment to “The Talking Trilogy” (consisting of “Hum”,”Histrionics” & ”Utterings”) You are cordially invited to record your own interpretation/reading of the included texts in whatever way you want (sing them, whisper them, shout them, read them…) and send it to us. We would love to be able to assemble an accompanying single we would subsequently add to this release as a bonus track/mix
